ROLE SUMMARY:
Step into a summer of meaningful work and community engagement as a Production Line Worker in our nonprofit organization!
Join our diverse team and work alongside adults with disabilities, contributing to a culture of inclusivity, respect, and empowerment on the production line. From assembly tasks to packaging responsibilities, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting diversity and making a difference in the lives of others.
This temporary position, running from May to August, offers high school and college students, as well as teachers and anyone else looking for summer work, the opportunity to engage in impactful work while enjoying flexible scheduling and weekends off. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION LINE WORKER CAN LOOK LIKE:
- Skillfully performing various tasks in a fast-paced contract packaging setting, including:
- Assembly work with or without common hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Packaging tasks, using filling and packaging equipment when needed.
- Assorted tasks such as: sorting, inspecting, labeling, and more.
- Displaying flexibility by switching between production lines efficiently.
- Assisting supervisors in training, motivating, and coaching fellow team members.
- Ensuring quality standards and production targets are met.
- Providing protective oversight of employees and reporting any employee behaviors, incidents and/or accidents to supervisor.
- Maintaining a safe, orderly, and sanitized workspace that reflects our commitment to excellence.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Be able to work a full 8 hour shift 2-5 days a week.
- Ability to follow and remember instructions.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Reliable transportation
LOCATION: Moscow Mills, Missouri
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday 6am -2:30pm
(Must work at least two full shifts (2 days) per week)
PAY: $15 per hour
