The duties of this role will include designing strategic sales plans and assessing costs + competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills. This individual will be responsible for meeting BCI’s annual sales targets and margins.

Job Title: Director of Organizational Employment Services
Department: Programs
Reports to: Chief Program Officer

Position Summary
The Program Director of Organizational Employment Services (OES) provides leadership, oversight, and performance management of individualized, on-site vocational support services for approximately 250 adults with disabilities across two locations, including St. Peters and Lincoln County.
This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered employment services within facility-based employment. The Program Director is responsible for staff leadership, program consistency, stakeholder engagement, and the achievement of measurable outcomes through the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Service Delivery
  • Oversee the implementation of individualized employment and vocational support services within packaging, light manufacturing, and related program areas
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across both St. Peters and Lincoln County locations
  • Promote person-centered practices that support skill development, independence, and meaningful employment outcomes
  • Ensure appropriate workplace accommodations are identified and implemented
Staff Supervision & Workforce Management
  • Directly supervise Employment Support Specialists and related staff, including:
    • Scheduling and attendance through ADP
    • Performance management and evaluations
    • Coaching, training, and development
    • Hiring, disciplinary action, and termination recommendations
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and mission-driven team culture
  • Ensure staff are equipped to provide effective job coaching and supports
Performance Management & KPI Tracking
  • Establish, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure employment goals are developed, tracked, and achieved
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to the Chief Program Officer
  • Compliance with documentation from: DESE, DOL, CARF and SB40 boards
Additional Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with families, support teams, and community stakeholders
  • Represent the organization in community engagement, advocacy, and outreach efforts
  • Participate in events, tours, and activities that promote the organization’s mission  
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and accessible work environment for individuals with disabilities
  • Oversee incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up
  • Promote adherence to safety protocols and risk mitigation practices
  • Participate in organizational committees, meetings, and strategic initiatives
  • Provide reports, program updates, and tours as requested
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Rehabilitation, Business, or related field is preferred
  • 3–5+ years of experience in vocational services, disability services, or workforce development
  • Prior supervisory or program management experience required
  • Experience managing services across multiple locations preferred
  • Ability to manager priorities and deadlines efficiently
  • Proficiency in data tracking systems and performance measurement
  • Strong understanding of person-centered practices and employment supports
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data tracking systems
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to pull up to 25 pounds. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. 
  • Ability to reach, turn and twist above and below the waist.
