PRODUCTION LINE WORKER
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Production Line Worker effectively performs bench, conveyor or assembly and packaging line tasks to meet safety, quality and quantity standards. They will assist with job safety, training, and development of employees with disabilities through leading by example and exhibiting a strong work ethic.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION LINE WORKER CAN LOOK LIKE:
- Skillfully performing various tasks in a fast-paced contract packaging setting, including:
- Assembly work with or without common hand tools and assembly equipment.
- Packaging tasks, using filling and packaging equipment when needed.
- Assorted tasks such as: sorting, inspecting, labeling, and more.
- Displaying flexibility by switching between production lines efficiently.
- Assisting supervisors in training, motivating, and coaching fellow team members.
- Ensuring quality standards and production targets are met.
- Providing protective oversight of employees and reporting any employee behaviors, incidents and/or accidents to supervisor.
- Maintaining a safe, orderly, and sanitized workspace that reflects our commitment to excellence.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Ability to follow and remember instructions.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills required.
LOCATION: St. Peters, Missouri
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm; Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
PAY: $15 per hour
